Another Disney film I watched over and over as a kid was Rescuers Down Under. Marahute, the great golden eagle, was a truly unique and beautiful character! The film convinced me eagles big enough to ride on existed in and I desperately wanted one!

I had nothing but Joanna on the brain last night, and someone rightfully pointed out an absence of Marahute. Though she only appears for a brief 7 minutes, she's absolutely gorgeous and has one of the best flight sequences this side of HTTYD.
