1/2 The Chozo go to K2L because they need afloraltite to use its energy-producing capabilities in order to finish creating Metroids. Samus's dad denies them and the Chozo leave. Ridley, sniffing around on the Chozo, goes to K2L to pirate, blows it up, orphaning Samus.

Zero Mission kinda served as a teaser for their lore and power. In AM2R tho, they are in the SPOTLIGHT

My love in gaming is Action Adventure. Your Zeldas and your Metroids. Jump doesn't really strike me as a Metroidvania character, with a stack of powerups to acquire.
