I’m still being asked about the animals in our art studio. Responses and understanding grow as the lessons go by but this student was dubious, still believing it was alive... I hope the badger’s not alive... it’d be much more cruel to nail a live badger to a table!

My ‘lunchtime pigeon’ project seems to have turned into a bit of a serious artwork. A pupil genuinely thought I had pigeon for lunch when they asked me about it 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hit by relentless enthusiasm for my Creative Society yesterday, my students tell me it’s the first time most of them have ever sculpted. Inspired by nature, they used leaves from our local area. Fingers crossed that they turn out ok!
