a friend sent me down a rabbit hole and i am now attempting to find a particular artist who worked with taito through the late 80s and mid 90s who did some of their arcade flyers. trawled mobygames and couldn't find any connective tissue but im p sure these are by one person.

I couldn't figure out what their connection was but the left one appears to be drawn by the same artist, "Kugatsu Hime" as Crystal Warriors on game gear, and is not in the mobygames database! so it is nice for me to know about now.

I'm reminded now of another game that used to spook me: Mirrorsoft's Terror of The Deep. An atmospheric (and scary!) diving adventure to try and uncover Nessie!

If there is a genre I enjoy most on the then it's shooters, here is another lesser know one, Whip Rush, has some cool cutscenes which was the first thing that impressed me

Amazing game, all those Jets to pick from, not as in depth as other Sims and lacks missions, but you get to see all those cockpits.

Very much a Console like game, Pegasus on the Amiga, you fly, ride a dragon, then platform your way to the end, looks amazing.

Loads of detail in Walker, was always fun blowing up the Lemmings or moving back and forth stomping em, different time zones, good game

Super Cars is up there with most time played on the Amiga, such a simple but elegant game, very addictive gameplay, and the added weapons are a bonus.

Played Moonstone on the Amiga with my friend the other day. Darn, it's such a good game, a bit hard though, like old games can be. High on my list for a modern remake. (screenshots from Mobygames)

Las bases de un género. ¿Qué daba más miedo? ¿Sus afilados polígonos? ¿El sonido crepitante que venía de algún rincón de la mansión? ¿La llamada de Cthulhu? 😱
