Modeler might get something like this handed off to them, especially with an established set of assets with a known family of materials and decals. The model I hand off is light and modular. Bigger orgs will have more formal processes for such handoffs

Tiles have very few polys and are all modular. My plan is to make little decorative "islands" (bushes, little rocks...) to put at random out of the grid's bounds, but I quite like the clarity of what I have now. We'll see how they turn out. :)

A simple design doesn't necessarily mean simple construction. We want Lorn Vale characters to have a large amount of variety, so character (atleast human) construction is very modular.
At most, a character consists of... uh... 14 layers? =]
