Saw a couple of his paintings at The Courtauld Gallery yesterday when we were going in to see the Van Gogh Portraits exhibition.

Have fond memories of the now Musée de Montmartre where he worked & painted La balançoire. Plus his film director son, Jean's biography about him.

Some of the most famous venues were le Chat noir, Mouline de la galette and Moulin Rouge
