Those who've a problem with the so called 'Angry' looking Lion as our , that means they also have a problem with Sri Vishnu's avatar of Narasimha.
A Lion is a Lion and not a Teddy bear. 🦁

Man-Lion, Narasimha, found in Vedic literature, is an Avatar of Vishnu who incarnates to destroy evil & restore Dharma. Also referred to as the “three-eyed lord” [Tryambaka Lord], he is known primarily to his devotees as “The Great Protector.”

I was INSPIRED by a stone Narasimha sculpture in a Mysore temple - the fine craftmanship and the ancient provenance🚀

Interacting bodies and the chains were CHALLENGING. Overall, this piece was ambitious af XD

I LEARNED a few good animation practices for this complex piece.

I always enjoy looking into different mythological Pantheons and the Hindu one is VERY cool. 'Narasimha' is GREAT and his story with Hiraṇyakaśipu is very cool. Has that satisfying 'haha Loophole!' element that I enjoy so much in Greek Myth~!
