The Forsaken in themselves are a whole other interesting beast, but one that touches on a similar notes.
In the same way nelfs take all the elven tropes and spin them together into something new, Forsaken take the "mindless zombie" trope and totally subvert it.
I think it was @Levighast who mentioned this a bit back, but nelfs are one of the few races in WoW that feel like an actual society all on their own. There's no one-note stereotype of a night elf in the way a tauren or a gnome gets treated, just by nature of their diversity.

This is a thread devoted to the person who really made my Christmas: @KeysTomama. She's the one who did my Power Nelfson outfit, along with all of the drawings for @/KongouVT's Crimson Christmas.
Here's all of the things she made for me.
"dryads hate violence" is so lame, why is this book making all nelf allies be soft and forgiving, but the nelfs full of hate.
Give me Lunara as a character in actual canon, she's way cooler. Poison your lungs and turn you to mulch for stepping foot on her lands.
I heard it was Nelfvember, so I spent the month drawing some iconic Nelfs as they are in @DarthDecisive's AU campaign.
Two snelfs... will they get along? (@HoneyedHaunt's Ydhneyis meets my Valerian, I honestly have no clue how these two would get along but Ydhneyis' wardrobe choices would confound Valerian)
