Sometimes you end up with better composition or better ideas for posing or how panels should look.

Sometimes you lose things from the thumbnails to the final page. There's a kinetic energy that can't exactly be replicated. So I try to keep my thumbnails as basic as I can so that the real energy goes into the sketch layer of the page.
