I think it’s about taking chances sometimes. Wanted something sharp a sorta Golden Ratio’d Birdarang in your eye. I’m hoping I took the leap and stuck the landing. Bottom green on the spines will be for individual vol’s spine art.

like with all my sculpts, I try to use lighting & shadows when working out symmetry & form. This was especially helpful when trying to capture Norm Breyfogle’s unique style of the character 🦇🤘🏻
