I really love these cheeky beepers, they have some good solid little eyebrows.

For day 7 I could pick a wildcard, so I opted for some lovely long legs & went with Kakī.
A really striking looking bird and one of the worlds most endangered waders.

Catching back up! For day 6 was Fairy Tern (Tara Iti)
They are incredibly precious like actual fairies, as I learned the NZ subspecies has only around 10 breeding pairs remaining. 🧚‍♀️
