The most thrill I had discovering a book was OHMSS by Fleming. The suspense is amazing in this novel!
Heck the whole Blofeld trilogy in novel form is stellar to me!

Of course after watching No Time To Die I need to listen to Hans Zimmer’s heartfelt score, complete with all its wonderful callbacks (OHMSS and Casino Royale).
OHMSS is a tough watch, at an ambitious 2hrs 20 min, screenplay-wise it feels like the bleakest of the Bond films until we reach the Craig era. Apparently George Lazenby had a frosty relationship with the director which didn’t add any warmth to a screenplay that’s a touch too icy
