Kind of in love with Stephen Cartwright's art in particular lately. Very sweet and almost unmistakably from the late 80s / early 90s. The warm colors, the chunky shapes, the thick confident one-stroke cloth folds, oh man. It's like an illustration equivalent of a cozy blanket.

We had a guest-tutor come in for Thursday’s art class. Teaching us about “One-Stroke Painting”. I loved it! She seemed pleased with the results: Saying I picked this up very quickly and I’d made this morning worth while. I felt really happy with myself.
