I knew these two were coming already because the Ash is a book heroine and they always get a New Years alt and Yarne’s silhouette made me think Panne was coming too, but holy hell do these designs slap!! They both look so adorable yet ornate.

The back was too ornate. Yeah, I can do that if I must, but it's not my style. I love animation, and I lean into simple designs whenever I can.

So the backs had to be more "me" and less "copying from schwanky real-world cards" to match the fronts.

The initial sketch design for the jacket was bulkier and more ornate. But after feedback, we moved on to a more Athletic fit, but ended up settling with a couple of designs that had a stronger Techware looks.

For 2, it's a divine bow!
Initially I had way more rings and it was much more ornate. Simplified it to this - which isn't bad! but I should have allowed for more ideation. It's not quite scratching the itch I had. Was also initially a spear so 🤷
