Day 135 - Paragoomba
129. Para-Goomba
"This article is about the species of parachuting Galoomba that appears in Super Mario World. For the winged Galoomba from Super Mario World, see 'Flying Goomba'. For the winged species of Goomba with a similar name, see 'Paragoomba'."

128. Flying Goomba
Wait, Goombas with wings are called Paragoombas, but Galoombas with wings are called "Flying Goombas"? That'll probably get confusing. Anyway, this type of Galoomba makes small hops along the ground. This one in particular is… still getting used to it.

044. Microgoomba
These teeny tiny spores usually appear in groups, and can latch onto Mario to weigh him down and limit his jump height. They're sometimes used as ammunition by mother Paragoombas, but are also able to scamper around on their own like regular Goombas.
🦝
043. Paragoomba
The second enemy to gain a winged variant, these fiendish fungi use their wings to hop low to the ground and keep you on your toes. In SMB3, the ones that hop are more red than brown, but there are brown ones that fly up into the sky and drop Microgoombas.
🦋
They are stronger than regular Goombas and Paragoombas, making the Spiked Goomba the strongest of the standard Goomba family tree.
