I left Notre Dame Cathedral approx 1/2 hour before the fire. Devastating. The loss of history & art is overwhelming. Heartbreaking & heartwarming was listening to Parisians sing Ava Maria. @ 2 am awoke to applause; take it to mean the fire is out & the iconic towers were saved
