The study
I don't think I learned anything
I am a photocopy machine powered by dead chickens
IIRC, the year I graduated high school was the year I had my first booth in Comic Fiesta and released my first two doujinshis made out of photocopy paper and staple-binded! XD I had 0 knowledge on the market standards and all but it was still a great learning experience!
Tried doing a cel shading thing with a render. Basically rendered a bunch of different types of lighting with and without AO in SFM and blended them altogether in GIMP and made the outlines pop more with the photocopy filter. I'm not in love with it but it was a fun experiment

More cel collecting. King Koopa from the Super Mario Brothers Super Show (I think? Maybe @max6464646464 would know). Background is a photocopy
@GoblinaJones The animation was drawn on Cels with fountain pens. Later photocopying (xeroxing) became a cost-cutting method.
Finally, markers were used for contouring which is more common and easy to use than fountain pens.
Now when it's digital it's mostly art style.

Here is Tom Parker’s memorial book which I have taken the time to photocopy for anyone that couldn’t make it yesterday, or didn’t manage to get a booklet themselves 🤍
