My Robo-Piñata art for Magic the Gathering's Unifnity set. This was a fun and challenging piece to work on because I really wanted to get the look of paper piñatas. So I made a trip to a local party supply store to spend time looking at various piñatas for inspiration :-)

Piñata is an entertaining book with well-written characters to root for, action, & some incredibly creepy imagery. It's a decent twist on the possession tale blended w history & mythology, & made for a diverting, fun read. Will definitely check out what Leopoldo Gout writes next.
