The oldest known depiction of the Trojan Horse can be found on the so-called Mykonos vase, c. 670 BC. The neck of the pithos shows the descent of the Greeks from the wooden horse. His hooves rest upon little wheels, and in the body and neck of the horse are seven windows visible.
