Yknow I was so shocked that the end of Irredeemable showed that The Plutonian was in fact, Irredeemable.

Never would’ve seen that coming.

Irredeemable’s ending says The Plutonian (Evil Superman) was irredeemable (lol)

But his crimes are dwarfed by stuff that Vegeta and Omni-man did, plus Vader was an accomplice to planetary destruction and genocides.

“Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,” I said, “art sure no craven,
Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore—

Irredeemable:

The Plutonian (Evil Superman) has his essence and very idea scattered across infinite universes, one of which has him has him cause Siegel and Shuster to create Superman

The Plutonian is like if you took someone who was already mentally unstable and tried giving him the pressure and responsibility of being Superman.

Yknow, I’ve noticed that Show Homelander has a lot in common with The Plutonian (another evil Superman) with his motivation.

Makes me wonder if they took any cues from him while making the show.

So The Samaritan and The Plutonian are the Superman-analogues with the most interesting power sets to me.

Omni-man’s not really “evil Superman” like Homelander or Injustice are. His actual turn as an antagonist (in the comic) is as only 6 issues.

That’s something the show did that I really don’t like, making his twist the whole show.

The Plutonian is more evil Superman than Nolan. https://t.co/jSKzEX30jV

The Plutonian is probably the Superman standin with the most interesting power set to me.

Cause he technically has none of Superman’s powers.

So The Plutonian doesn’t actually have any of Superman’s powers.

He just subconsciously alters matter to make it look like he does.

Yknow I like how The Plutonian is way more petty than Homelander is with some of the stuff he does.

And isn’t pathetic at the same time lol.

I’m glad I don’t know how Irredeemable ends before going in (unlike Invincible), so I’m just as in the dark with The Plutonian as the characters are.

Nicolaus Astraia is the son of a Plutonian demon and a Solarian demon, or at least would be considered as such if his parents actually ended up living there. His parents during the demon and angel war were in the armies for their respective royals (his mother, a solarian demon-

For my take of The Equivalence, I’m torn between giving him a cape or no cape (as an homage to Plutonian from Irredemable I guess)

I’m not sure which is more fitting, so what do y’all think https://t.co/VQEklJdhnk

the comic really dragged out and got more not as great as it went along, but man Plutonian from irredeemable makes homelander look like a rational person
