Living under the same family of Mustelidae, Striped polecats pretty much mimic a skunk for self-defense stance n all,,, even right down to the noxious spray!

They basically just false skunks :D

Here was a very nice thing this afternoon- unsquashed Polecat hunting rabbits on home turf. I think they are quite common here now- anyone know if resurgent Polecats affect Stoat populations?
