Just a yr ago a great hoard of rings, weight >4kg, was found at Tullydonnell, Co. Donegal-now on display . Luckily this find fell into good hands & can now be enjoyed by everyone. The rings provide the ideal gold alloy for torcs such as some now lost.

10/32 Co. Dublin In the 1990s on a big housing site in Ballycullen, at the foot of the Dublin mountains, a builder found a Late BA cup-ended ornament or ‘dress-fastener’ - a fibula to antiquarians. Luckily it wasn’t mistaken for a fancy doorpull.

‘There’s one fair county in Ireland....’ 2/32 - Co. Armagh is the recorded findplace of this LBA disc. Decorated with concentric circles and bosses like a miniature Lough Gur shield it may have been part of a gorget or ear-spool. .
