The artwork on all the Quicksilva titles always amazed me as a kid! Just looking at them transports me straight back to the early 80's when the future seemed bright and a new dawn of technology beckoned to us all!😍

Turns out it was a bit like being mis-sold PPI 'eh! 😭

My Favourite C64 Platformers No.18

Booga-Boo The Flea

Quicksilva 1984

Another innovative game that involved lots of jumping, BB is a cool little title that I’ve always had a soft spot for as it was one of the first games I played on the C64. Simple but addictive and good fun.

My Favourite C64 Software Houses No.47

Quicksilva

Established in 1979, Quicksilva were one of the UK’s first software houses. Their best C64 titles include the quirky Booga-Boo (The Flea), the charming Rupert games, Tony Crowther's Black Thunder & the C64 conversion of Pac-Land
