Making a black character white is definitely a no-no in my book, but I feel like racebending is just a weird thing to do in general because you can just make your own character.

It's not really racebend, Namor is a biracial character, his mother isn't white, Atlanteans can be any race & it would work. Namor's earliest appearances was him fighting against white people for hurting his home/people & he calls them white devils. Tenoch would be great as Namor

last bit on the racebending discourse, i did my BFA/senior gallery show series on racebending, my professors greenlit, supported, and helped me through it, and i presented it alongside the rest of my graduating class.

racebending is real, valid art. nobody can take that from us.
