@artistsbase Oiyah ini attempt ku buat flat color nder, aku disini make gradient jg biar enak dilihat, sm di shading dikit, trs lineartnya dimainin tebal tipisnya, ga lupa jg di warnain tipis² biar lebih cerahh
If you see these hue shifts/gradients throughout, I use an OVERLAY layer to do that! Adds easy interest without hiding the underpainting
Momosuzu Nene
8/10 the pink gradient of her hair saved her from my blonde hatred, she very pretty but again, probably would have too many admirers for me to keep up
@Kato_Shuu2 Mostly this from 2023-2022. Thicker sketchy lineart, simpler shading, mostly relying on gradients, less attention to detail, but remember it being faster
Having a ton of fun redesigning my OC.
I'm learning to optimize the design for replicability. This one for example, uses a simple, untextured 3D model and gradient maps to serve as pseudo blender shader nodes to save myself time coloring.
another list of brushes, textures, and gradient maps I use
❗️I'm not great at explaining/teaching thoroughly, just sharing what I use with examples!!
‼️ some may not be free!
the links to the brushes/assets will be in thread vvv
posted this 30m ago and it started banging but the eyes +,gradient map were messed up and i couldnt live with myself if i left it. please bless me a 2nd time algorithm
Working with gradient maps is still a little difficult but it gives interesting results :
@ponkosei Lighting in cell shading is simplified, no smooth gradients, shadows are mostly just hard edged areas on an object.
Full rendering is moreso where it actually tries to emulate more realistic lighting.

I drew this in B/W first and then colored it with gradient maps, it takes a long longer but it has an interesting effect. I hope it looks okay.
