This 14” x 18” Reg Gardner oil has just been added to our Summer Exhibition. “Stuart Street Power Station” This coal fired power station was built in 1900 in the Bradford district of Manchester. The cooling towers shown in the painting were demolished in 1978.

A 5.75” x 7.75” Reg Gardner painting sold at auction last week for £2,400 including costs, a record for a painting of this size. Reg painted “Bradford Gas” in 1973 and it depicts an area of Manchester which is now the location of Man City’s Etihad stadium
