Cretans known as "Keftiu" in Egyptian sources bring gifts like metal ingots and metal containers to Egypt. This painting was found in the Tomb of Rekhmire at Thebes, during the reign of Pharaoh Thutmosis III. The painting is nowadays housed in the Metropolitan Museum in NYC.
