Spinosaurus is still a fairly mysterious animal and we don’t have a complete picture of its appearance due to a bunch of convoluted issues too complex for a tweet, but these restorations are based on cutting edge understanding of their life appearance!

What I love is that it's so lightly restored (modern restorations below in gray). It was almost entirely whole when discovered. Apparently, Bernini's sword hilt was inspired by the commander's hilt on the Great Ludovisi Sarcophagus (tucked on his left side, below).

When covering MK musical history, one might overlook this catchy little Sherman Brothers tune, but there's no way I would pass over our sweet citrus telepathic bird.
