Then I start coloring. The basic process I do is simple, I start with a single flat color on everything before going into specifics. That allows me to use alpha lock to not have to keep retracing the outline. Once that’s done I’ll start rendering.

Looks like I’ll be moving back to my old place. That means I can fully concentrate on my colorings and improve my art. It’s a shame I have to move back but I haven’t been happy for years, so maybe retracing my steps will bring me that lost passion back.
