1st day of the new govt thousands of protestors took to the streets in a rage that their demands had been ignored. There was no protest, they arrived and the riot started.

gathered in front of the PM’s house it began to pour down rain. People passed out green and purple ponchos, lunch, and everyone huddled together and demanded their demands be heard

At 4am the biggest protestor tent was destroyed by security forces with knives and metal cutting saws. the govt forces grow less tolerant of people’s protesting and demonstrations.

abt 20 riot cops ran out as a tent placed at the entrance. Chanting “Our Parliament!!” - tense 10-15minutes but they finally returned inside to much celebration. little wins.

After years of being closed to the public, the protesters announced that they are going to take back Nejmeh square and protest in front of the Parliament building today. Truck loads of soldiers arriving this afternoon to prepare.
