Happy Folktale week!
This piece was inspired by Finnish lore. The aurora borealis was described as a fox running so fast across the snow that it created flames in the sky. They called this phenomenon “revontulet” or “fox fires.”

In Finnish, the aurora borealis is called revontulet, meaning “fox fires." The mythical tulikettu, or firefox, runs through the snowy hills of the far north, its tail whipping colorful sparks into the sky. No hunter can catch the firefox, as it's fast as wind. #FolkloreThursday

Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by solar wind. The Finnish name “revontulet” is associated with the arctic fox. According to a tale,a fox touches the mountains with its fur and sparks fly off into the sky as the northern lights #MythologyMonday

Nico mainly because you sing as her in Revontulet but Hanamaru because the books and food. Kaoru because of how she dresses often in fancy outfits and speaks in a fancy way. She just reminds me of you, she also barely ever wears a dress
