Hollis used to hate Christmas time. The idea of killing trees and then to be tossed aside after four weeks always made him nauseous.
But then he met Rowhan, who showed him how magical this time of year could be.

But I wanted to introduce you guys to a new character in Hollis and Rowhan’s world.
Meet Tillie! A smol unicorn faun fairy. Her wings are inspired by a rosy maple moth.
I’ll probably write a small comic about her this fall.
Rowhan pulled Hollis closer and nuzzled into the crook of his neck and breathed a deep sigh. The faun was just on the verge of sleep, based on how relaxed his breathing had become.
One sound caught Rowhan’s attention though, and he covered his mouth in awe.
Hollis was purring!

@ulqueleh @SashaDistan Oh yes! They actually always have them. It’s how Hollis can stay away from the tree he is connected to for longer periods of time, Rowhan placed a couple of seeds from his tree in resin so they both wear them at all times.
It glows when Hollis is powered up.
