Dash is based on the Celericaecilia rubrumacula, a very tiny, yet aggressive red spider capable of running quite quickly. Dash is just a little guy :) In his design, I made sure to reference the many defining features of his real life counterpart, such as

Haven’t drawn it in a while but Rubrum has the “Rhamashi Eyes”. Basically when his pupil turns white he can process information way faster than even peak humans so he can learn what his opponent’s next moves could certainly be. He also uses it on special occasions to copy a move!
