Many kids' shows try to model good behavior for children. The amazing thing about is that it also models good parenting!
Take S1E11: Bike for example. Bandit doesn't dismiss his kids' frustrations, but he also doesn't immediately swoop in to fix them. He lets them grow!💙

And how obvious it now seems that in S1E11, Adora was clearly missing not only Catra but their physical closeness & rough-and-tumble ways of touching. In the "Hey, I missed you too" scene she tried to get back to what they had had & evoke a familiar response in Catra.

For one thing, how anyone could hate Catra or see her purely as evil when we know she is capable of such deep love? And for another thing, I wish we had seen a similar reaction from Adora - but she only faced her loss in S1E11.
