#Sadequain gave more to the nation But within a few years after he passed away, his name faded from the collective memory of the nation. He should have been the face of the nation recognized around the globe, but sadly, he became a stranger in his own country; a forgotten hero.
#Sadequain was a polymath, a confluence of Picasso, and calligrapher Yakoot. Likes of him are not born for centuries. His work was unique like none other, innovative, and by all measures, difficult to duplicate. The only book which has documented the mural is Treasures of Time.

Today is #Sadequain ‘s birthday. Yesterday in #Karachi I got a chance to see his fabulous murals in @StateBank_Pak & his unfinished ceiling in #FrereHall. No doubt, he’s one of the greatest modern 🇵🇰 artists, admired all over the world.
