I found this huge, cute sculpture at a big botanical garden in Thailand, so I turned it into a character. I'm pretty pleased with his design.
Obv the actual sculpts are a bit archaic, but in terms of their shapes and proportions, this is perfect.

It makes me happy seeing people having fun with the lasso tool. If you are a slower artist like me I recommend BLOBS. It’s a similar technique for working pose/composition faster and it’s sorta like sculpting!
