To the best of my knowledge, they're used by soldiers in the Selesnya Guild as mounts to traverse the giant city plane of Ravnica.

Instill Energy is another great card, and while Nature's Chosen gives up the haste half, getting to tap to untap something else makes this amazing in Selesnya decks.
