Kinda reminded me of the Clone Cadet Training Helmets used by Domino Squad in Star Wars The Clone Wars Animated Series; their helmet visors were more open, allowing the clones-in-training better visibility.

I've read 4 vols of the LN and while I wouldn't say this was a notably bad adaptation, it really just highlighted the issues I have with this series; namely how bland the romantic chemistry between the main 2 is and how shit of a character Amane is.
