Why wasn't this an official Digivolution line? it looks so much more natural than throwing Orochimon in at the Ultimate Level. Eyesmon Scatter Mode > Shademon > Eyesmon > Niddhoggmon.
Only issue is the lack of arms on Shademon.

According to Kenji Watanabe, Abaddomon's design is based on FullMetal Alchemist characters, probably, Pride and Father!!

And since its motif are irregular and mysterious eyes and mouths hidden in darkness, Shademon and Eyemon are also an inspiration!!
