Aizen was an enemy of SS. Adopted by Ichigo through his bonds & sense of justice. I found it perfect/fitting that an SR made the final move. The SR who suffered the most too.

Yhwach was different. This was Ichigo's own fight. The one who took his mother.

Makes more sense Aizen's true faith was placed in Urahara.. The only mind he respected. 👌🏽

I've retrospectively wondered about White weakening Ichigo.. Maybe it was a protective measure as Ichigo would've died, had Ulquiorra considered him a threat. 👌🏽

Tessai being prior head of the Kido Corps & relative/more proficient than Aizen & Kisuke likely came in clutch. As a test dummy & co-creator.

Consider how SR use Zanpakuto as mediums to help better channel their souls, naturally the FINAL form would be to access that power directly. For me that was the FINAL Getsuga, replacing the sword & firing at full, directly from within. Hence the Getsuga coating. 👌🏽

Did Ichigo master Bankai in 3 days?

He simply achieved the form to hang without dying. Still brute forcing through with stats & reiatsu. Kisuke took 10 days with the Tenshintai. Ichigo taking like 3 comparatively tracks & is more a testament to Kisuke's prowess. 🙌🏽

Rereading now, It's clear to me Kubo intended for us to figure out Aizen for sure just before the characters. Allowing time to get our reactions out the way & reset. Ready to then derive new pleasure in watching Soul Society crumble along with him.. 👏🏽 👌🏽

Kubo sprinkled in dialogue, looks & gestures which are more apparent in the Manga. It does a better job hinting at foul play & setting up Aizen as key. Even if you figure him out early, you feel all his scenes more & enjoy the reveal for the characters.👌🏽
