This is one of the love stories of Ferdowsi’s book Shahnameh,the great Iranian poet.
Manijeh was the princess of the land of Nuran who fell in love with the son of Give ,one of the sailors of king of Iran,called Bijan.
Gordafarid is a woman warrior in the Persian epic poem The Shahnameh, described as "a lion eager for battle." She delays enemy troops marching on Persia by riding out to meet them, roaring, "Where are your heroes, your warriors, your tried & tested chieftains?" #FairyTaleTuesday
