On June 19, the #ShanghaiMuseum will hold a special exhibition of 21 donated bronze ‘ding’ vessels. Two of the largest ones, donated by the Pan Family in 1951, will be reunited after one of them was displayed at China’s National Museum. #WhatsOn @ShanghaiMuseum
27 #kesi tapestries and works of embroidery from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) and eight paintings will be exhibited at the #ShanghaiMuseum as of May 21. The exhibition shows the techniques of embroidery and kesi -- a technique for weaving pictorial designs on fabrics.
