At some point, every person who lives on the crater's fringes is drawn to walk down into it. Each comes back with a different tale of what's in side: a volcano about to erupt, a cauldron where lost ghosts gather, a shattered Remnant forgotten for centuries.

There are few ways to cross the Glass River. The most reliable is Alaro's Palms - a trio of sandstone hands they say belong to a buried giant. Asking Alaro for crossing is risky though, offer poor tribute and Alaro is likely put you down many miles off course.
