The Getter Robo and Getter Robo G anime, while not fully translated into English yet, are very much fun 70's super robot antics from what I've seen. Much like Mazinger Z, they're more "clean cut" in depicting the heroes, but with plenty of shlocky action and gore for Fuji TV.

Let's goooooo! Re-read! B-movie-esque, shlocky, zombie exploitation film tier fun! Highschool of the Dead is unironically one of my favorite manga and anime (RIP Daisuke). If you have an interest in the series, you owe it to yourself to buy the jumbo sized, full colour hardbacks.

Possibly one of the best monstermovies that i've so far, an irish film called Isolation, which features a mutant cow with a taste for blood. A wonderful watch that plays its premise supringly straight instead of turning into a shlocky slaughterfest.
