Wiggle your artichokes boys for ‘tis time for the Schembart Carnival, Nuremberg’s 15th century Shrovetide knees-up.

Schembart means ‘masked beard’ & costumed men ‘carried on & behaved foolishly’. Not unlike a day with the Right Hand Man.
