It’s book that is beautiful & disarming in its simplicity. It’s one of those books that’s hard to shake once you’ve read it.

It’s all done in color pencils, w/ big, lush illustrations that belie the story’s troubling theme. It made me think about comics in a new way.

I finally drew one of Berli Honeybear's friends: Brewster, the Bishonen Rooster. Problem is, I can't decide which colored version of him I like more. I might go with the white one for simplicity. His blue hair and green eyes are inspired by James from Pokémon!
