Morrison wrote my favorite single issue of any comic. Thunderworld Adventures Just brilliant that Shazam can beat evil 7 days out of the week, so Dr. Sivana steals time from the multiverse to create an 8th day of the week. The day evil wins. Silly goose grade genius there.

At the end of the story the heroes and villains have to ditch Sivana’s island base, as it’s set to explode, leaving the Vanytes to die. Except, Sivana outright says they’ll survive the explosion… so does that mean there’s just a huge army of living Plastic Man clones in the sea?

In fact, Sivana created a whole clone army, whom he called The Vanytes*. Sivana even says they’re essentially Plastic Man’s offspring! He also put some of Plas in Shado’s son Robert and Oliver’s son Conner’s DNA to heal them of deadly ailments… albeit in a mind controlled state.
