I never properly showed this off but here is the Skarner rework I collaborated with in designing over a year ago now - largely inspired by prehistoric arthropods

I do think Riot's official version is better but I'm still very happy with what we came up with :)

Riot apothecarie will be handling Skarner's narrative for his VGU, taking over for Riot griddlebones, who left Riot last year. She handled narrative for Caitlyn and Ahri's ASU as well as Milio, Spirit Guard Udyr and the upcoming Nidalee VO update.

I think these two are the best concepts for the Skarner rework by far

* Moving more towards being a mix of arthropod designs rather than JUST a scorpion makes him more fantastical
* Making him rounder(friend shaped) helps to better sell that he is actually a peaceful creature https://t.co/D5FB7mx9mW

Skarner is my FAVORITE league Monster and I hope they will keep the crystal scorpion design and not transform him into a random scorpion or meca or void...
