Since someone approached me asking what a "simple sketch" would be like I wanted to explain it here in case someone else has doubts.

I managed to draw "so-detailed-looking-rough-sketch" by keep drawing mechs for 13 years, it took long time to shorten the time performance.
The colour you pick and the shadow you add is the most important thing.

the "rough sketch" doesn't look "rough", because for my art process, i don't really do an actual rough sketch to draw over
my "sketches" are drawn in vector layers with the intent of already being the lineart (after further clean up)

@heyjenbartel Also kind of a stretch to call Adam Hughes's work at that price "a sketch" when usually for that price you get a great piece in contrast of a proper sketch by him.
@MikeThe_Batz For me, a "cleanup sketch" is basically me drawing over my messy sketch on another layer. I find it quicker and cleaner than trying to refine the initial sketch. Lineart/ink is when I make the drawover more clean or just do it all in vector. :3
