GM! Added SKEUOMORPHS #174 by @GaloAndStuff to my collection, be sure to hit the "Generator" button on the left to see it running life, it's worth it

Excited to share that my next long-form generative release will be SKEUOMORPHS on @artblocks_io!!
SKEUOMORPHS is an interactive, generative artwork that plays with dithering, shading, and physics to produce abstracted woven pixel compositions.

NEW LOGO CHANGE 🚨
Changed up my logo again but this time I wanted to go for a more skeuomorphic kind of look. Also redesigned the blue side to look less like a Minecraft creeper and a bit more original. I’m not sure if I’m that satisfied with the background but I’ll work it out.
Skeuomorphic Bridge made out of water: Step 3: Evolved the Orion input image with Argo to complete the image based on the input: in this case, a bridge almost entirely made of water! https://t.co/fR9u8hgtap #aiart #digitalart #starryaifeatured via @get_starryai
Been basking in nostalgia for the time before game UIs aimed for minimalism, but instead plastered large parts of the screen's real estate with functional, skeuomorphic overlays chock full with info and/or beautiful fluff.
(Jp. PC-98 was arguably the golden era of this trend)
Today's aesthetic is Frutiger Aero !
This aesthetic involves glossy materials, glass, vibrant colors contrasting monochrome looks, skeuomorphism, nature visuals and humanism themes !!
I guess I like generating skeuomorphism.
Making digital abstract (or not) visuals with code while keeping a sense of realism 🖍️🎨

Skeuomorphic/glossy designs are simply fascinating

My new word for today: skeuomorphism
That is, making icons look 3D, or resemble objects, rather than being flat.
Turns out there's a word for the way I like doing UIs
I got a tour of a "JobsCon" template world in @VRChat by @LilBagelVR that's set in a skyscraper with modular rooms on each floor between booths, classroom, stage, & cocktail area.
A very skeuomorphic design that I think works for this use case of a job fair.
Coming in 2-3 months.
Finally, something a bit different -- we've been studying a related aesthetic prevalent in the later 00s, termed 'Frutiger Aero'. Though it's mainly expressed in that sorta eco-glossy skeuomorphic tech look, seems like it may have extended into interior design.
